“Multidisciplinarity in Action – The Symptom Puzzle in Pediatric Neurology”
On May 16–17, 2025, at The Villa Casa Dimitrie Bolintineanu in Bucharest, the Neurocare Association organized the first edition of the Neurocare Conferences, an event dedicated to pediatric neurology and interdisciplinary collaboration, held with the support of 16 educational partners.
The conference brought together over 150 participants and specialists from multiple medical fields to explore the complexity of neurological manifestations in children and the importance of an integrated approach to diagnosis and treatment.
Over the course of two days, the program featured:
7 scientific sessions covering 23 topics,
34 Romanian and international speakers,
applied multidisciplinary debates,
interactive sessions and clinical case presentations.
Key topics included: epilepsy, spinal muscular atrophy, pediatric multiple sclerosis, Duchenne muscular dystrophy, neurofibromatosis type 1, as well as essential issues such as medical communication and the transition of pediatric patients to adult care.
