Dr. Daniel Mihai Teleanu, Vice President of the Neurocare Association, named “Honorary Citizen” of Făgăraș
Bucharest, June 2, 2025 – In a ceremony that highlights the close connection between professional excellence and responsibility towards the community, Dr. Daniel Mihai Teleanu, Vice President of the Neurocare Association, was awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of Făgăraș.
The distinction was granted during the Făgăraș Local Council meeting on May 29, 2025, where the mayor’s proposal was adopted unanimously. “Many people from Făgăraș have turned to Dr. Teleanu for help, and he has always been there for them. He has done a great deal for the city and for its people,” the mayor emphasized in his speech.
For the Neurocare Association, of which he is Vice President, this moment is a landmark. It symbolizes the Association’s commitment to promoting excellence in Romanian neurosurgery, supporting the training of younger generations, and developing support programs for patients.
